日本で半世紀暮らしたバングラデシュ人から見た国際交流と相互理解の挑戦
Challange of International Exchange & Mutual Understanding from the
viewpoint of  a Bangladeshi who has lived in Japan more than a half century.

二十歳で祖国から日本に渡り、日本語を学んだあと商船大を卒業、25年間船会社に勤務。その後日バ間の貿易を専門とする貿易会社を設立された七田央さんは、在日バングラデシュ人からも、知バングラ派日本人からも信頼され、頼りにされています。その彼の口から、彼の半世紀の体験を傾聴し、国際交流と相互理解の重要さや困難さについて、議論を交わします。

Left the homeland at the age of 20, Mr. Shichida came to Japan and graduated from Tokyo Mercantile Marine Univ.. After serving 27 years at a private
merchant company in Japan, he has found a own company for trade between Bangladesh and Japan. We will directly hear from him about his half-century
experience, and discuss with him about importance as well as difficulties of international exchange & mutual understanding.

◇講師：七田央氏 Mr. Hisashi Shichida (ジアウル・イスラム、Ziaul Islam、）
株式会社国際リンクス社長、President of Kokusai Links Co. Ltd.

紹介文：1944年、バングラデシュ西部のラジシャヒ生まれ。1964年、在学していた商船学校をを中退し、文部省奨学金を得て来日。1964年から二年間、千葉大学で日本語二年を学んだ後、1967～70年東京商船大学で操船を学ぶ。卒業後しらばく日本鋼管などのでインターン。1972~97年、に日本船会社で、船の管理や人事などに携わる。97年に退職してバングラデシュへの完成新車自動車、部品輸出現地組み立てとバングラデシュの海産物輸入を扱う、現在の貿易会社を設立。1971年1月、東京YWCAがやっていた「「留学生の母親」運動」の母親からの紹介で、日本人女性と結婚し、長男と長女を設ける。逗子市在住。

Born in Rajshahi in 1944. Came to Japan as a Monbusho Schlorship student in 1964, graduated from the Tokyo Merchant University and served to
Japanese merchant company from 1972 to 1997. In 1997, he has found own trade company, export automobiles , parts , assemble cars in Bangladesh and import seafoods from Bangladesh. He married to a Japanese lady who was introduced by his foster mother in Japan, who was Tokyo YWCA member. They got a son and daughter.
